We heard you want to be an officer!
All applications are due early May.
NEW Applications will be open early April.
Officer Positions and Descriptions:

President: Presides over meetings, appoints committees, and coordinates chapter activities.

Vice-President: Develops the Program of Activities (POA), coordinates committee work, and acts for the president when necessary.

Secretary: Prepares meeting agendas, records minutes, and maintains member attendance/records

Treasurer: Manages funds, collects dues, and maintains financial records.

Reporter: Publishes activities, manages social media, and works with local media.

Sentinel: Prepares the meeting room, welcomes guests, and assists with special features.

**Historian: Maintains the chapter scrapbook/website, records history.

**Parliamentarian: Advises on parliamentary procedure during meetings.
**= Decided if necessary by the nominating committee
The past interview processes have looked like:
-Application submitted May 1st
-Interviewed by a panel (the nominating committee) on Friday, May 8th, and/or Monday, May 11th (depending on applicant number
-Slated into roles based on interviews
-Voted on by the chapter, Wednesday, May 13th,
-Roles announced at the banquet, Wednesday, May 27th.
(Role is determined by a composite score containing the application, interview, and vote number)
