Chapter Officer Retreat - July 31, 2018
The St. Helena FFA Chapter Officer team and the Advisors gather in Bodega Bay, CA on a three-day retreat to plan for the 2019-2020 School Year. The Officer Team set expectations and goals in order to have a successful year in the St. Helena Agriculture Department
Future Farmer of Japan Aug 30, 2018
Japanese viticulture students from Shiojiri Shigakukan High School, visited St. Helena and the Napa Valley to learn about the wine and vineyards in the Napa Valley. They also visit our campus and shadow students to experience the typical day of a California High School student and present to St. Helena Viticulture students about Japan's Viticulture.
September Meeting - Sep 12, 2018
The September Chapter meeting was held on September 12, 2018, and was followed by a Carnival event. Members were introduced to Agriculture Education and the National FFA Organization by the Chapter Officers. Following the presentation, the regular business of the meeting was conducted. After the conclusion of the meeting, members headed outdoors were a full carnival theme event awaited.
Day at the Pumpkin Patch - Oct 14, 2018
Ag Leadership and Pumpkin Patch Enterprise members planned for a fun and education day for students of the St. Helena Primary School. The entire kindergarten and 1st-grade classes are invited to visit the St. Helena FFA Pumpkin Patch for the annual Primary at the Pumpkin Patch where students learn about the agriculture industry.
Harvest Festival - October 20, 2018
St. Helena FFA hosted a booth at the St. Helena Harvest Festival. The booth raises ag awareness to the community and educates individuals about the Ag Ed program. Chapter members promote the FFA, their projects, the pumpkin patch, the turkey enterprise, leadership activities and distribute ag media.
Board Meeting - November 9, 2018
The Chapter Officer team conducted a presentation to the St. Helena Unified School District Board Members regarding the opportunities offered at the St. Helena Agriculture Department. This presentation is conducted every year in order for the board members to be aware of the new opportunities implied in the Department.
Etiquette Dinner - November 15, 2018
The Agriculture Leadership class attends a "Professional Etiquette Dinner" in the fall in which a company called "White House Etiquette" comes to teach the principles of table manners, meal etiquette, and professional dining. The culinary program prepares a 5-course meal to go along with the lesson. This dinner prepares students for a professional meal they may have in the future for a job or conference.
Annual Tractor Parade - Dec 1, 2018
Community members from the city of Calistoga and other surrounding areas gather each year for the Annual Calistoga Tractor Parade. St. Helena FFA participated for the third year in a row and was fortunate to win "Best of Float of Show" and "Best Youth Float." This event allows for the chapter to showcase itself to community members of other cities.
Degree Ceremony - January 29, 2019
The St. Helena FFA Chapter held the annual Degree and Proficiency Degree Ceremony. At this ceremony, students who had met the requirements to earn their Greenhand, Chapter and State FFA Degrees were recognized. Chapter Proficiency's were also awarded to those who submitted applications.
Chapter Photo - February 22, 2019

The St. Helena FFA Chapter Officers and the members of the Chapter met in front of the main building of St. Helena High School to take the annual Chapter Photo. This photo is used throughout the following year and represents the unity of the chapter.
Rib Feed Fundraiser - April 19, 2019
The St. Helena FFA chapter hosted the St. Helena Ag Boosters Annual Rib Feed to raise funds for chapter activities. This gives local community members a chance to support the program as well as student's SAE projects. Ag Mechanics, Wine made by Viticulture and floral arrangements were auctioned in both live and silent auctions.
Chapter Banquet - May 15, 2019
St. Helena FFA hosted a spring banquet at our local Native Sons Hall where we recognize community supporters, programs within the department, and individual student success. Members from the District, Ag Boosters, Ag Advisory Committee, and community members attend along with parents and students.
